Import paperwork and conformity
Morocco's published import guide describes customs declarations, import commitments and product conformity procedures. Ask your Moroccan importer or broker which documents and inspections apply to the exact HS code, and whether a conformity check must happen before shipment. Do not treat a supplier's certificate as automatic Moroccan approval.
French descriptions and label approval
The import guide calls for a clear French goods description on the invoice. Have the importer review invoice wording, values, currency and product identification. Request French or Arabic packaging where required by the product rules or your sales channel, and approve the artwork before production.
Installation and after-sales support
Confirm electrical compatibility, installation dimensions, corrosion resistance and local servicing needs. For hotel or construction orders, approve finishes and replacement-part specifications early so visually matching items remain consistent across suppliers.
Landed cost and delivery location
Name the Moroccan port or delivery point in the quotation and obtain a broker's estimate of duties, taxes, inspections and local charges. Check onward transport and unloading access at the site. Avoid treating a freight-only quotation as a delivered project cost.
